Easter with Mersina – A Tradition Celebrating Spring

At Sagaform, we love traditions in general, and Easter in particular. It's a relaxed yet familiar holiday that invites leisure during the most anticipated time of the year - spring. Let Easter be a weekend where you share moments and collect memories together.

We visited Mersina Karlsson's home and asked her how she prefers to celebrate Easter.

-

What elements are essential for you during Easter?

-

What I love about Easter is that you can adapt it as you like. If you don't like eggs and fish, you can instead serve a delicious lamb roast or simply anything you like yourself! The most important thing is to create a generous and fun atmosphere, especially for the children.

-

Do you have any Easter traditions that recur every year?

-

An egg hunt in the garden for the children is definitely a must! Sometimes the Easter bunny leaves a big egg or lots of mini eggs - the hunt is definitely the most enjoyable part!

What do you think about Easter as a tradition in the future?

-

Easter is a holiday that I appreciate more and more. Nowadays it's my absolute favorite holiday! When spring is in the air and the sun is shining, you can spend the weekend outdoors in the garden, maybe do a bit of gardening, and enjoy some outdoor coffee. Love it!

-

What do you prefer to give as an Easter gift from Sagaform?

-

A perfect gift, in my opinion, is the stone wine cooler. It becomes a beautiful detail in any home!

But can it really be Easter without Easter eggs and candy? Absolutely. Our tip is to focus on Easter presents instead of traditional Easter candy. It's something that lasts over time and spreads joy every day, year-round.

Something to put all the candy in...

Jars are perfect for hiding things you want to keep close by, Ellen bunny jar and egg hen is of course no exception. Easter time we fill it with candy or our favourite cookies, give it away as a gift or keep it for ourselves. We also use it for storage when we want to serve something quick and easy in a nice way. This is the Easter gift that will last for ever, with it's stylish design in colours that's close to nature.

Flora cake stand

Cake is a symbol for festivities and celebrations, a moment of joy which Sagaform wants to share with you. Flora cake plate is produced especially for everything that needs to be served in a more special way. Preferably a cake but cookies, titbits or finger food work just as well.

The plate is designed in a beautiful beige colour with a shiny finish, decorated with Sagaform’s characteristic stripe on the foot.

Viva vase big - Amber

Like a newly emerged flower it unfolds its leaves. Vase Viva flirts with us in a seductive way – the organic shapes and the discreet power. A Swedish Original which has an obvious place in all homes - which makes it the perfect gift.

Viva vase comes in several different sizes, in clear glass and amber, so it is possible to supplement with more. Small vase Viva is perfect for cuttings or a small bouquet. Large vase Viva flourishes like a statuette with and without green leaves and flowers.

Sten wine cooler

Stylish and close to nature, toned down and soberly luxurious! Sten wine cooler has a straight shape with a rounded base. The material Travertine-marble is heavy and genuine. The tones are natural beige in a traditional marble pattern. Together it becomes a wine cooler with a strong and natural look. Put ice in the bottom or freeze it for a couple of hours to keep the wine cold. Sten wine cooler is designed to stay timeless, neither shape nor material goes out of style. A sustainable tip is to use it as a vase when you don’t use it for cooling beverages or for serving.
